Family Promise of Las Vegas (FPLV) and Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHSSN) have entered into a partnership to work together to provide effective case management and affordable housing. Both of these great organizations believe education is the key to helping families move from the streets to their own home.
Family Promise has proven beyond a doubt that case management is vital to assisting families that have recently exited homelessness. Through case management FPLV continues to provide guidance and education related to financial stability and sustainability. FPLV works with families on developing employment skills, a savings plan and budgeting.

NHSSN provides affordable housing and homeownership counseling. NHSSN helps the families first by housing the families in one of their beautifully rehabilitated apartments in North Las Vegas or on Calcaterra. Once FPLV has worked their magic and the families are ready to move into their own home, NHSSN is there to provide the homebuyer education and work with the families during pre-purchase, down payment assistance and post purchase follow-up.
Are you ready to become a force for change in housing homeless families?
FPLV and NHS have collaborated to develop this very important project. We are reaching out to our community for support. This project is not funded at this time by government grants. Many agencies that provide housing assistance experience shortfalls in funding and homeless families are left searching for a nonprofit to assist them to get back into housing. We have estimated that to fully fund this project for the first year will require an investment of $55,000. We are seeking partners that are willing to contribute for any portion of this program cost.
Both organizations are 501-c3 nonprofits, registered in good standing in the State of Nevada. FPLV and NHS worked very hard to honor their commitment to their community and donors by operating in best practice standards.
